About The Group

Deformation, damage and failue of solid strucutures are related to coupling of mechanics and physics at different scales which requires new characterizing and modeling methods. Based on traditional and statistical mechanics, we are developing experimental technologies, multi-scale simulation methods and theories in order to investigate typical mechanical problems crossing molecular and meso scales.
